![]() ![]() Doesn’t hurt that it’s less than a mile from my house! Keep it up Rising Tide, you’ve got a good thing going!Īt some point in my illustrious career at Wellesley, a group of very well intentioned ladies looked at me and said «yes. The atmosphere is laid-back, kid & dog friendly - the space allows for casual conversations with no rush to leave. In the warmer months they have a great patio space, with corn hole - and you can bring your dog! The inside space doesn’t have much seating (although I hear they are expanding the tasting room area!), but plenty of space to hang with friends over beers. At Rising Tide’s tap room you can get 4 samples (in an adorable wooden crate holder) or 10oz beers, for reasonable prices. Rising Tide does a great job of being a strong player in the neighborhood by bringing food trucks in, hosting events and generally rocking. Within a stone’s throw you can get great local coffee, beer and spirits. The East Bayside neighborhood is great, and continues to get awesome new additions. I am a huge fan of the Maine Island Trail Ale, but I am currently loving the D’Automne (a delightful fall beer). They have some lighter options, hoppy beers, dark flavors and ever-changing choices with each season. Rising Tide produces beer for every taste palate. I love the location, the space, and most importantly, the beer. ![]() Do ya’ll know the story of how the brewery got its name? «A rising tide lifts all boats.» Be sure to ask one of the owners or employees to tell you the full story - made me wanna give the Maine craft beer world a big ol’ hug.
